My new blog is up and running! The process was MUCH easier than I thought it would be. There are still a lot of things that need fixing (for example, all internal links in posts are links to my old blog), but it’s working! Many thanks to Amy of Uncluttered Design. Amy and I communicated via email, and although I ended up not having any design work done at all right now, she was kind enough to point me in the direction of a great tutorial. Another big thank you goes out to my ever-patient husband, Steady Eddie. Not only does he put up with my blogging habit, he also figured out in short order how to put my old blog header up there. He really should be the one blogging, not me. 
But you’re stuck with me, and I’m glad to be back in the saddle again!

I’m using this same theme, and the help forum is very useful. Maybe I should do a post on some of the resources I’ve discovered playing around with my own blog. Thanks for the links you include here.

Everything looks lovely. I had hoped (planned??) to change to a self-hosting site during the Christmas break and here we are into April and it still hasn’t happened. Perhaps during the summer break.
