I’ve run across several great booklists that I wanted to share. Enjoy!
- Most of you are already big fans of Semicolon (and if you aren’t, you should be
) , but I wanted to point out that Sherry recently posted a list of great summertime reads. - Another list is from Kendra of Preschoolers and Peace fame. She recently highlighted her family’s springtime read-alouds, most of which deal with the Renaissance and Reformation.
- Melissa Wiley, author of the Martha Years and Charlotte Years books (prequels, of sorts, to the Little House books which we haven’t read but I’m fairly certain we will
), recently posted a lengthy Middle Ages book list. - Heidi, who blogs beautifully at Mt. Hope Chronicles, has compiled a huge list of chapter books (fiction and non) that “help capture the history, culture, or atmosphere of places around the world.”
I could spend the next several years on these booklists alone.
Do you have any bookish links to share?
ETA: Heidi, who also writes for Simple Homeschool, shared a list of picture books from around the world after I posted this. Enjoy!
